FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is special insurance required for a fireworks display?
No need to worry about insurance, as Pyrotek Fireworks provides all the necessary coverage. Our company carries £5 million of product and public liability insurance, which covers any firework-related incidents during the event. However, please note that this insurance does not cover any other aspects of the event.
Does the venue size matter for a fireworks display?
Absolutely! The size of the venue is crucial for a safe and spectacular fireworks display. Our team will assess the area where the display is to be conducted, and depending on the venue size, we will advise on the most suitable fireworks selection and size range. Rest assured that all our displays are subject to a Risk Assessment right up to the time we fire.
Can a fireworks display be set off at midnight?
Fireworks displays during most of the year must finish by 11 pm due to strict legislation. It is an offence to use fireworks between 11 pm and 7 am. However, there are a few exceptions to this rule. For instance, on November 5th, fireworks are permitted until 12 midnight. Similarly, on New Year's Eve, Chinese New Year, and Diwali, fireworks are permitted until 1 am.
What happens if it rains during a fireworks display?
Don't worry about the rain; we've got you covered! Our fireworks are designed to be lit in the rain, so the likelihood of rain will not compromise your display. You can sit back, relax, and enjoy the show while we get wet.
